Sinus irritation due to glasses?
Has anyone ever experiences irritated/puffy sinuses when wearing glasses? A couple of years ago I started wearing glasses more and more to correct far sightedness due to age, but whenever I wear glasses my sinuses start hurting.
Mostly it happens when I'm on the computer, and I'm on the computer all day for my job. By the end of the day my sinuses hurt so much all I can do is close my eyes.
I've tried going to the optometrist several times, and all they can do is try to adjust the prescription but that hasn't worked. I do the usual let my eyes rest every hour, tried adjusting the screen etc but nothing has worked. This has been going on for years so it's not a problem of me just getting used to glasses.
I've gone to the regular doctor, and all they ever say is that it's something in the air, dust etc. They see I have post nasal drip.
However I don't think it's that because it's always worse when I get on the computer, or even wear just regular glasses, and when I just walk around with blurry vision my sinuses feel better.
Any suggestions to try and figure out what may be happening would be appreciated!
