    Default Eye Twitching

My left eye continues to twitch constantly, it's to the point where people have accused me of winking at them. I spoke to an eye doctor about this problem he stated that caffine may be a contributing factor as to why I am having this problem.

ive just developed an lower eye lid twitch which is driving me mad.

it cant be caffine related in my case, as i cut out all caffine from my diet over 6 years ago.

im putting it down to fatigue/stress etc combined with the fact that ive found out I need to wear glasses for reading/vdu work so im sure I am suffering from eye strain.

My lower lid has been twitching for over two years. The BOTOX injections do help for 3 months, but my twitch always returns once the BOTOX has worn off. Anti-anxiety meds also make it stop. I tried stopping caffeine, but that's never worked for me.

    Default eye twitching

My eye started twitching about 6 days ago and ever since then it hasn't stopped! I'm a little stressed but not that much and it just does it randomly throughout the day. It has been driving me crazy. I don't know why all of a sudden it just started and won't stop now! does anyone know why it would do that?

Default Perhaps My Healing Experience From The Similar Eyelid-twitching Sickness might help

Perhaps my healing experience from the similar rapid eyelid-twitching / eye-blinking sickness (which was countless times in a split second and a medication-induced one) might be helpful to you and other intended readers.

Default Hey, another positive feedback for my recommended acupuncture technique

Hey, I have just received another email reply (from another person seeking helps from me through email a few days ago) giving me the positive feedbacks associated with my suggested alternative instrument-aided self-administered acupuncture technique (which doesn't involve any needle-piercing at all and is naturally free-of-charge) for the chronic eyelid-twitching / eye-blinking sickness.

Perhaps the information given in the websites as follows (that I have so far recommended to the others troubled with the chronic rapid non-stop eyelid-twitching / eye-blinking problems seeking helps from me through emails) will be useful to you and the other intended readers as well. Thank you.

Smile My twitching has been going on for 8 years

I had started a twitching in the area below the right eye 8 years ago. It was in Jan 2000, on the day my mother had a major surgery, so I thought it must be stress-related, initially. Since then, I had it occasionally for a few years, even at times I was not stressed-out. In 2006, it happened so frequently that it bothered me a great deal. It kept twitching from a few minutes to a few days...I tried ice-pad, hot-pad, accunpuncture, but like the energizer rabbit, it keeps going and going... It became noticeable, and I was very self-conscious. Imagine, having a movement below your eyes constantly...

I did some research on the internet and thank God, I found out that the treatment is injecting botox. I went to a plastic surgeon and had my first shot in Feb 2005, and 8 days after, IT STOPPED! I was so relieved.

The bad news is, the injection only good for 4-5 months. It quietly crep back. The strange thing is it usually started in the mornign when I wake up, and absolutely not feeling stressed or tired. The frequency and duration increased over a couple of weeks. I have to go back to the doctor and get another shot.

However, despite the limited duration, I am happy that at least botox injection works! I hope someday there is a total cure, and if you know that, please share with me.

    Exclamation

That makes sense. I have to have a cup of morning coffee each and every day.
