Like most people, I used to get the occasional twitch lasting a few seconds. - A minor irritation but nothing more.
Then, last week, my eye began twitching incessantly. By the end of the first day it was driving me crazy.
When it continued, I looked it up on the net and was horrified to discover that some people have suffered it for years!
I mentioned it to my wife but got little sympathy. (After all, it isn't exactly child-birth!)
I'm not one who generally has a sweet tooth but, later in the day, I had this strong craving for chocolate so I grabbed myself one of my kids' chocolate bars which had a really sweet caramel filling. The sugar content must have been through the roof.
To my amazement, within half an hour, the twitching had stopped and the relief was incredible.
Two days later, I felt the beginnings of the twitch returning so I quickly self-administered a small chocolate bar and it ceased within minutes.
I know that this doesn't constitute a full clinical trial but it worked for me and I just thought I would share it. - And, if a Nobel prize happens then it happens.
I'll worry about the onset of obesity when it comes to it.
Please let me know if this does work for anyone else.
Regards,
Martin
