Principles of radiation protection glasses
Radiation protective glasses, too strong for the defense of ultraviolet radiation on the eye hazards. Lenses used to reflect or absorb radiation, but some visible light through a special glass. Lenses coated with bright chrome, nickel, mercury or silver metal film number, you can reflect radiation; blue lenses absorb infrared light, yellow-green lenses absorb ultraviolet and infrared, colorless leaded lenses absorb X-rays and γ-rays. Such as the common welding glasses, the transmittance of the lens required is relatively low, so the lens color and more to ink-based; laser protective eyewear, by definition, can prevent the laser radiation on the glasses, so demanding of lenses, such as the source selection, the rate of decay of light response time, optical density, light effects, and different nanometer (nm) laser will need to use different wavelengths of the lens.
