new glasses
I have recently purchased from Specsavers new prescription glasses. When I use them to watch say TV my vision is OK. However if I cover my right eye the left focus is nowhere near as good as if I cover my left eye, viewing though my right lens. This suggests to me that the lens for my left eye is not good enough. Specsavers say this is very common and it is OK as long as the vision overall is OK, which it is. Am I being 'had', if not why doesn't the left lens compensate for any greater sight deficiency in that eye?. It was also suggested that as my right eye is dominant it compensates for any greater deficiency in my left eye.

Since it's been almost a year when you asked this question... are there any changes about your problem?
