Should I get 2 or 4 pairs of glasses?
I have 3 pairs of glasses that I bought in 2008. I got my eyes checked back in February 2011 and the prescription is good until Feb 2013.
The results were: Right sphere -6, cylinder -2.25 axis 036. Left -7.25, -1.50, 129. Feb 2011.
Back in May 2010 the results were: Right: -6, -1.75, 035. Left: -7, -1.75, 130.
Back in May 2008 the results were: Right -6, -1.75, 036. Left: -7, -1.50, 128.
I usually have 3 pairs of glasses (Work pair, backup/home pair, sunglasses). Now I want a pair for Workout/Sportwear.
Of my current 3 pairs that I bought in 2008 my Work and Sunglasses frames are still in great conidition so i'm keeping those and just replacing the lenses. My backup pair is finished though...so I need a new backup/home pair.
Since my eyes are so bad I have to get High-Index and also anti-reflection.
My question is, do I get 4 sets of new lenses(2 for the work & sunglasses frames I already have and 2 new frames for sports and backup) or just 2 new glasses (sports and backup)?
I don't think the prescription is far off from 2008...so would it be unwise to have 2 pairs with 2008 prescription (Work & Sunglasses) and 2 pair with 2011 prescription (Backup/Home & Sports).
Thanks.
