Tips of cleaning eyeglasses lenses

Eyeglasses lenses are easily scratched especially some lenses with uv or anti-reflective/anti-radiation coatings. So we have to protect our eyeglasses lenses very carefully. For some people who have worn eyewear for many years, they still don’t have a clear idea of cleaning.
Here are some tips for cleaning lenses:
a. Clean the lens by soft hand soap under running water
b. Use the cloth with high thread to dry, do not use tissues. (my lenses are scratched by cleaning them with tissues )

If you do not have running water and soap handy but need to clean your glasses there is a procedure that can work well and safely.

Lick them. Run your wet tongue over the glasses and get off ALL trace of anything gritty, or for that any trace of anything. When you are sure there is nothing left on the lens but your slobber, use a soft cloth to dry them.

yes, cleaning lens is important. unclean lens will affect our vison, i use len cloth

Actually while we do wash lenses daily with a mild soap and warm water to remove dirt and oil and avoid massive buildup.Purchase a professional lens-cleaning cloth and lens gel (or spray) to remove fingerprints, dirt buildup and smudges.

You can buy a special water used to wash the glasses clean. If only with a cloth, then wipe the glasses lens scratches easily.
