Are sunglasses basically for fake people?

I don't like wearing sunglasses. I just like to come off as real and see too many people who I think are phonies who have an obsession with them- Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Jim Jones (not the rapper), Dennis Rodman, Bono, Usher, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and too many rappers with fake names to mention. I could probably list about 100 other people. Would Jesus wear sunglasses? I don't think so. I just think they're synonomous with being fake. Any opinions?

I don't like wearing sunglasses either. On one hand, I'm wearing prescription eyeglasses. And I also think that I can not see the real world through colored lenses. But I don't think that sunglasses are basically for fake people. It could protect our eyes from UV rays or the dust. And some people just like wearing sunglasses. They perhaps consider that sunglasses make them look cool!

That's just basically stereotyping. Not all people who wear sunglasses are fake. Heck, if you don't like them, then don't wear them.
