Question Looking for a miracle - 10-27-2009, 07:02 PM

I was stabbed in my left eye at the age of 4, 1964. As a result I have had 1/4 of my iris removed, leaving an oval pupil, a lens cut in half, and a major cornial scar. I have since had cataract surgery with an implanted lens. Using pinhole I see 20/20, but due to the scar on my cornia I have severe astigmatism. I recently heard about contact lens implants, that go behind the lens. I am on disability, and have medicare/medical. I am searching for an opthomologist/eye surgeon, preferably in northern California, that would be interested in doing an implant cosmetic contact to give me a fixed round pupil, and a corneal transplant. With these procedures, I would gain almost perfect vision, my right eye would still dialate for night vision, and daytime vision would be near perfect. I would like to see the other half of the world as a normal visioned person would.
Is there anyone out there that may be able to help me?
